Francis - Lockdown Cancer Journey
As a family we are reaching out to try and give Francis quality of life.

Francis journey started in Lockdown 4 when he was diagnosed with a very large Melamona on his scalp he had no idea, even GP and Specialist thought it was a Cyst. Such a shock to find it was Cancer.hi is in his early 60's.
June 1 he had the major surgery to remove the Melanoma, fast forward - August 10 CT scan and Pep scan followed by MRI showed that he has Stage 4 Cancer it has spread to Brain, Lungs. His life has totally shattered into pieces.
He is starting Radiation Treatment this week and also needs the drug Ketruda which is of cause not funded by Pharmac. We understand that everyone is doing it tough, as a family our sons and daughters are trying to keep a jobs, businesses and keep going. But this is about Giving a little to help someone receive a little help.

Francis passed away peacefully at Te Omanga Hospice on 19 December 2020.
