Free breakfast at Wellington High School
We are hoping to raise money to help us start a free breakfast at WHS for students who struggle to obtain food on a daily basis.
Wellington
We are a group of students at WHS that are hoping to make a positive change to our school community. In our Crime and Society class, we were given an assignment to take an action to create positive change in our community. We found that students at WHS weren't getting enough food to benefit their education and wellbeing. So we came to the conclusion that a free breakfast at WHS would be beneficial for our school community.
We sent out a survey at WHS and we found that 45% of students that responded don't have access to the amount of food they need every day. 58% of the students think that the stall will be beneficial to them.

We are students at Wellington High School and are hoping to start a free breakfast for students who have limited access to food. We are hoping to better our school community and provide help for students who need it.
Use of funds
We will use the money to buy nutritious and delicious breakfast food for the students and any supplies that might be required. Any extra will be donated towards the New Zealand charity, Child Poverty Action Group.
