A unique, FREE, contactless organ tour of New Zealand’s aged and palliative care homes/retirement villages.

UPDATE:
The wheels have stopped rolling!! An overhanging tree on a wellington road has caused significant damage to our truck. After 65 concerts, this has caused significant delays to our tour, and is a massive financial setback!!
We are grateful to everyone who has been helping us to date. We have covered 50 concerts in the south island, and we had just completed around 10 in the wellington region.
The goal of our Tour.
Starting from Tasman in June, we aim to have two trucks set off on a unique, FREE, contactless organ tour of New Zealand’s aged and palliative care homes/retirement villages. Give what you can to help us purchase equipment hire and self-contained trucks for the music tour– Bring the tour to your elderly whanau.
These free concerts will bring thanks, joy and love to thousands of care workers and residents, who have been particularly affected and socially isolated due to Covid-19. Whilst we enjoy new freedoms, care homes have to retain stricter protocol. This tour is a way you can help them feel remembered and connected to all of us, in this lonely time.
We have partnered with Age Concern New Zealand who are a registered charity, to provide us with assistance in direction. Any excess money raised above our 200k goal will go straight to supporting their much-needed work with all NZ seniors, at this time.
Our goal with this tour is to send 3 messages:
RESIDENTS – YOU ARE NOT ALONE
CARE WORKERS – THANK YOU!
OUR COMMUNITY – THIS IS WHO WE ARE
For donations $30 or over – Leave a comment with your donation which we will display to residents and care workers on our LED screen, in a book each care home will get to keep! Or email us with your child’s drawing of happiness and their message.

See the video on this page to view our first trial concert in Tasman.
Search TVNZ on demand for the One News coverage story, live from Saturday 23 May, and another interview on their Breakfast Page, from 29 May.
For business sponsorship please email info@fromuswitharoha.co.nz
Donations will be used for our event-related costs such as equipment hire, fully self- contained trucks, and creating a book/video for each care home. If we do not reach our goal of raising 200k in two weeks, this will still help the project get off the ground and the first truck will get to go around Nelson/Tasman, and as far as the funds will allow in both Islands.
The wheels are rolling again!! 12 July 2020
It took a week to get the truck repaired after its encounter with a low hanging tree in Wellington. It was a stressful time for All involved, but as usual, the support from many of those involved, and some new friends got the truck back on the road.
Special mention here to Paul and Jill Ewing - Your support has been unbelievable.
