Fundraising for our sweetheart Bubbles

Bubbles is a 4 year old pitbull mix, we adopted her at just 13 weeks old. She has always been a happy go lucky pup, full of love and big pitbull smiles. But ever since her injury she has been the complete opposite.

During lockdown Bubbles injured her back leg quite badly, we waited 6 long weeks to see a vet as everything was closed, it was a painful wait for our limping girl and led to her injury getting worse and worse.

We finally visited the vet last Friday and after getting some x-rays done, the vet advised the best course of action would be to have surgery. She has damaged her cruciate ligament so her leg has no support around the knee area. We are looking at booking surgery for 3 weeks from now, but hopefully sooner if possible.

The initial vet visit last Friday was $658, surgery is going to cost $2500. Even if we don’t reach our full goal, it will help us so much having the extra support from everyone.
