Fundraising to purchase land for Arkadien

As you may or may not be aware, our Hawkes Bay venue "Arkadien" has to move and instead of finding another temporary location we want to purchase land to rebuild a permanent venue to be shared by all.

Arkadien is a dance venue that hosts 2-3 day events over summer with our main goal to provide a space for live music, dance, community, art and food, that is affordable, family friendly, and allows people to express themselves in a safe and comfortable environment.

Our community promotes respect, kindness and care for each other, the earth and all earth's creatures.

We build using recycled materials mostly based around the Earth'ship design of using tyres filled with earth, thus we help to reduce humities impact on the earth while showcasing what can be achieved with building in an environmental way.

We currently have a 9hectare plot of land between Hastings and havelock north that we are looking at purchasing, however we are $100,000.00 short of the deposit.

So we decided to put this to you, the people, our friends and family to help us so we can build something for us all to enjoy.
