Gingerbread Horse 2017

You can virtually make a real difference for so many young (and not so young) RDA riders.

Nationwide

Each year, hundreds of lovely people in the community bake, ice and sell Gingerbread Horse biscuits. They then generously donate their biscuit proceeds to Riding for the Disabled (RDA).

They're supporting RDA riders, volunteers and specially-trained therapy horses. They're growing participation in goal-based riding for thousands of young (and not so young) riders in local communities throughout New Zealand.

At RDA, we focus on ability. We believe it's what you CAN do that counts. But, alas, some of us just can't bake!

That's okay. You CAN still join in – and virtually make a real difference for so many RDA riders.

Bake or buy a batch of virtual Gingerbread Horse biscuits.

Like the real ones, virtual Gingerbread Horse biscuits cost just $2 each. Each batch of cookie dough makes 40 biscuits (worth $80). Get them by the biscuit or get them by the batch.

About us

We provide high-quality training and support for 40 plus RDA groups throughout NZ. Our vision is to provide more riders with life-changing horse-riding opportunities and to enable them to increase their ability, independence and self-worth.

Use of funds

You CAN virtually make a real difference. You can help reach more riders and change more lives in your local community. Thank you!

Alas, we can't actually send you any real biscuits in return for your generous support. But we can (and we will) send you our very real and sincere thanks.
