Gender Reassignment Surgery Goals

I’ve been on this journey for the last few years and all things considered, it’s gone pretty damn well and I’m happy :) I’ve found myself in a beautiful community of loving, amazing people, and I still have the love and support of my New Zealand family something I am so grateful for. I’ve moved into a new home, I’ve settled into a new style, and with it, found myself and a comfort and confidence in my self-expression. Thank you to each of you that has contributed to that - you are each beautiful and amazing people and I love you. The purpose of mentioning all of this is to clarify that I am happy and in a good place and what follows doesn’t change that. I think that this is an important space to note that if you found this page because you're seeking to support a trans individual and potentially save their life, then there are others you should support; others with crippling depression and dysphoria. Thank you, you're amazing but they need your help a tad more.

There are as many trans* pathways as there are trans people; each being a very personal and valid journey. I have felt into each step along my journey for what I have thought to be right and that’s a process that seems to be working for me so far. I’ve been on feminising hormones for nearly two years now, that coupled with some weight loss has left me feeling good, but it’s not enough for me. Which leads me to the crux of this post. I am seeking to generate some money, a lot of money, in fact. I’m still working through all the exact costs, getting quotes from clinics around the world, and working through the logistics but my working figure is $100,000. This money will be used for me to undergo gender reassignment surgery, receive breast augmentation, and possibly some facial feminisation surgery. Now, it is generally considered best practice with trans people not to ask about their genitals and surgeries, etc. By writing this I realise that I am crossing that line, I am happy to have respectful conversations about these things in the right settings and places. However, I’m just speaking for myself and not the all trans people - don’t ask them :)

I’m feeling drawn into the life coaching space. Whilst I am not a therapist, I have years of experience coaching through leadership and management in many different environments. I consider myself to be a pretty grounded, pragmatic person. I’ll be updating this as a service through my business in due course. I also love public speaking!
