Georgia's volunteer trip to Tanzania

I will be spending 6 weeks in an orphanage in the Arusha area through the International Volunteer HQ (IVHQ) program. This page has been set up to try and raise as much money as possible to donate to the orphanage to help wherever it is most needed.

IVHQ aims to provide safe and responsible programs to various third world countries around the world. IVHQ partners with in-country volunteer organisations to place volunteers in high quality programs and also in areas where there is genuine need.

Due to the high level of HIV/AIDS and other illnesses in Tanzania many children are abandoned or left orphaned. The childcare program run by IVHQ incorporates a range of tasks for volunteers from looking after babies and children, teaching, cooking, cleaning, farm work, and assisting with feeding programs.
