Your generosity will help Cody Hobbs (Mens 2018 BMXNZ Elite Champion) achieve the goal of becoming an Olympian.
Waikato
From the young age of six years old Cody has loved racing BMX. He has worked hard for many years and has multiple national titles to show for it. He is currently 2018 New Zealand National Elite Mens Champion.
In 2008 BMX racing was added to the Olympics and Cody has a desire to compete at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. To help him achieve this goal he needs to compete and gain experience on the international Elite circuit riding against the best riders in the world. To compete at this level the expense for accommodation, travel and competition entry fee is extremely costly. He really does need your support to help him achieve his potential.
In between training and racing Cody studies part-time at the University of Waikato (Screen and Media Studies). He has started a small videography business "Motus". He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and volunteers as a Young Adult representative.
Cody is my Brother and I really want him to feel supported in his dream of becoming an Olympic Champion. He works so hard and I feel this is a great way all his family, friends and supporters can show him how much faith we have in him and his dream.
Money raised from this page would contribute directly towards helping Cody pay for travel costs to compete on an international Elite circuit in Europe 2018 and ending his tour at the BMX World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan.
