Get Indi to the Globe!

I am a 17 year old from Nelson, NZ who's passions spread far and wide. From Politics to Kayaking, I am someone who loves to be involved and keep learning new skills. As basketball came and went, as playing the pipe band popped it's head in briefly, drama and theatre always stayed with me. For as long as I can remember I have taken drama classes and been involved in various performing arts. I have been in countless productions, from Shakespeare to devising my own theatre, from playing Miss Havisham to gangsters! This year, I was selected as one of 24 students to head to London next July, as part of the Shakespeare Globe Centre NZ Young Shakespeare Company (SCGNZ YSC). This is a huge honour and I am feeling incredibly privileged to be part of this amazing team who has been selected to go. We will take part in workshops with world class thespians, and we will perform on the Globe Stage.

While this is all rosy and incredible, I am now faced with the challenge of raising thousands of dollars to get there. Now don't you worry I am well up to the task and I am excited to put in all this hard work to get there, it will make it all the more rewarding.

But coming from a family spread far and wide, and a single mother at home working part-time due to some health issues, it is going to be no easy task.

So what I ask is this, if you are in a position to contribute to my journey, whether with $1 or $100, then please consider it. Nothing we ever do can be done alone and I need the strength and support of my community behind me. I am so lucky to have you all! The trip is estimated to cost $8500 (could change slightly based on flight costs etc).
