My computer is slowly dying - and it's at the point where I can't do any work on it anymore. I volunteer as a sysadmin, and need a computer.

Hi! I'm Alice. I work on various open source projects as well as putting many hours into designing and building websites and database systems for a political activist movement.
The work I do is quite processor and memory intensive, decrypting and encrypting data on the fly as part of the development of a project for the political activist org I'm part of.
I also like to develop games in my spare time, and in the process of that, I'm writing a game engine that anyone can pick up and use to create a game without having to learn a single line of code.
I'm also working on a basic Operating System - something which most developers wouldn't even touch beyond theory in University. It's great fun, but it's also very hardware-demanding.
I can't continue doing any of this, however, as my primary computer is getting old, and it's basically unusable in my workflow.
If I had a new computer, I'd be able to finish my game engine project, make more progress on my OS, and have a stable enough machine that would allow me to finish the projects I'm undertaking for the political activism organisation.
Any funds I get will go towards buying new computer parts to replace my aging system.
