Getting Matt to Rehab !

We are onto month 7 since Matt’s accident when surfing on the bar .

After 4 months in the spinal clinic Matt is now at home in Mangawahi, travelling 3 times a week to Auckland for Rehab .

Matt has been making a good recovery, gaining some function , but to get the most out of what he’s got Matt needs some serious rehab in Auckland .

Matt’s biggest barrier is funding and unfortunately this is coming at a huge cost (a lot of the money from our last campaign has been spent on this already) ACC will only fund small amounts of his rehab which is not enough to get Matt to his optimal condition.

Matt is making huge progress but we need your help, he is going to have to fund accomodation in Auckland for 5 nights a week to undertake extra rehab.

Matt and his family so appreciate your support and can’t thank you all Enough! The more work we put in now the better the outcome and independence for Matt long term.
