Give a hand to Westport to recover from the devastating floods of July 2021.
West Coast
Westport is a cool little town on the West Coast of NZ. The people are the heart of the place and are quick to give a hand when it’s needed.
It’s now their turn to get a hand to recover from the recent floods.
Westport has been devastated by the floods of July 2021. Hundreds of homes and families have been affected, many for the second time in three years. Flooding has been extensive and the damage is significant and heartbreaking.
Many of us who are family and friends of this brilliant little town want to help. I’ve set this page up so we can fundraise to help. Funds raised will be contributed to The Westport Flood Relief Fund who are helping those affected with vouchers and support as well as donations to agencies involved in housing flood victims.
Be generous, give a little, give a lot, give what you can. Give a hand to Westport.

Use of funds
Funds raised will be contributed to aid in the recovery from the devastating floods of July 2021. We will donate this to organisations who are helping those affected. We are overwhelmed by the generosity and support of people giving what they can to our givealittle fund.
I have been in touch with the Westport Flood Relief Fund and will be donating what has been raised so far to this fund. Through your sharing we have also been able to help donated goods be delivered to Westport.
My boys and I will be in Westport for the next few days and will be helping out our family and friends in the clean up. Your generosity will mean that we can help some people who are affected when we can’t be there offering a hand. So thank you x
