Help us give a little to Nepal

My objective is to assist in education of Nepalese children. Effect.org has identified the best way to prevent human trafficking is through

Auckland

Every 26.28 minutes one girl is trafficked

that equates to...

54 girls a day

383 girls a week

20,000 girls a year

and this is all we know of. Locals believe it could be 5 times higher than this.

I am travelling to India and Nepal in May 2017. These areas have extreme poverty with 25% of Nepal living below the poverty line on less than $1.15 per day (according to the Government of Nepal, Central Bureau of Statistics). They also face a serious problem with human trafficking. These people, often under the age of 16, are deceived through promises of marriage, jobs or a better life, however they end up suffering sexual, mental and physical abuse and are even harvested for organs.

Use of funds

I am hoping to provide some local schools with care packages containing basic hygiene and schooling essentials. I have estimated these will cost $25 each, with the aim of putting together at least 50. Any financial help would be most appreciated.

This is not my video however it shows the impacts on human trafficking https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fdo6NVqHA0w
