  • Charlotte's visit to NZ ends up in Hospital

    Charlotte came home to New Zealand for the Christmas Holidays and caught and cough and cold. It turned serious a few days later and she ended up in Starship Hospital in Auckland.... that was 10 days ago.

    She has had a lot of ups and downs over the last 10 days. Lots of uncomfortable and scary procedures she has had to endure, yet she always comes through with a smile.

    Currently she has a partially collapsed lung and her oxygen levels are nowhere near good enough to go home to Australia anytime soon.

    At least another week or so in hospital and hopefully she can start the road to full recovery.

  • December update

    Charlotte is doing amazing!! The best decision that was ever made, was to move to Australia to receive treatment for her.

    She is becoming stronger. She is back to crawling which she had lost the ability to do. She can get down off the couch and nearly lift her leg to get back on! She can now lift her arms straight above her head. She is moving around the house way more than what she was. She is slowly getting her freedom back!! Her voice has also got stronger and louder!! The other week she managed to turn on quite a hard tap and hold it on so she could play in the water!!

    Charlotte is now receiving Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy every week. She's just had a bone density scan and cast's fitted for some supportive boots so she can start to walk when her legs get stronger!!

    Exciting times for Charlotte, we are soo proud of her and all that she is achieving. She is one very determine little girl.

    Spinraza #5 is booked and ready to go for January.

    Thank you for all the support for our precious girl, saying Thank you just don't seem enough.

  • Getting Strong

    Charlotte is now receiving Spinraza in Australia!! She is back to rolling over in bed and sleeping by herself. She crawls a lot more, sings with gusto!! We are seeing very positive small results.

    This girl is getting stronger and doing incredibly well!!

  • Use of funds

    Update on Charlottes use of funds as we don’t want to mislead anyone. Money raised will be solely used for Equipment, Activities such as keeping her gym membership going, and also soon to join a playgroup. Also any therapies she is required to do to keep her moving and active. We very much appreciate your support ❤️
