Music Performance Arts

Monet Schutte was selected to represent New Zealand at the 21st Annual World Championships of Performing Arts in July 2017.

Team New Zealand will represent New Zealand for the 11th time at the 21st World Championships for the Performing Arts in Los Angeles, California. Participants from over 50 countries are invited to compete at this prestigious event. Monet will be leaving with Team New Zealand on the 28th of June 2017 and return to New Zealand on the 11th of July 2017 arriving in Auckland on 13th of July 2017.

This is a very special opportunity for her to compete internationally and possibly furthering her performing arts career. This is a major accomplishment, which may only come once in a lifetime! Unfortunately the costs are high and they have to rely on sponsors,

donations and fundraising to make their dream come true.

The costs for her airline ticket, accommodation, entry fees, seminars, team uniform and taxes etc. amount to +-$6.500 NZD per contestant.

To make it possible for her to represent her country, financial assistance is needed in the form of donations / financial assistance towards her travel expenses, hotel costs, meals etc.

Without sponsorship / financial assistance she will not be able to reach her goals and we are therefore asking for any kind of sponsorship / donation / financial assistance.

Monet will greatly appreciate your assistance

I am 10 years old and has been playing the sax for 1 year now. I am also playing Jazz Piano. I have completed my Grade 3 Jazz ABRSM saxophone exam in November and received a Distinction. I was selected to represent NZ in the World Championships of Performing Arts. My goal is to be a professional saxophone player like Wynton Marsalis who started playing trumpet professionally at the age of 14. You can watch my videos on youtube at https://youtu.be/7OKDfTwa8WU
