Gumboot Friday - I Am Hope

$392,568 donated
Given by 7463 generous donors in 12 weeks

Gumboot Friday: a fun way for kiwis to join the mental health conversation, and raise money for FREE & timely counselling for our kids.

Nationwide

Having depression is like walking through mud every day. So on Friday 5 April 2019, we're asking you to show your support. Put your gumboots on, give a donation, and take a walk in their shoes for just one day.

Gumboot Friday is a fun way for every kiwi to join in the mental health conversation, while raising money to provide FREE and timely counselling for any kid in need.

All donations are deposited by you (either via this Give a Little page, through your online banking or in person at a Kiwibank branch) into the Kiwibank Gumboot Friday account. The money will then go directly to the registered health professional upon receipt of an invoice. This will ensure your money donated during the Gumboot Friday campaign goes directly where it's needed: to kids getting the help and support they need, when they need it most.

About us

As well as our current visits into schools and communities we are developing a strength based, youth led peer support and mentoring program aimed at empowering our nations young people.

Use of funds

All Gumboot Friday donations will be used to fund kids getting free & timely counselling from registered mental health professionals.
