Support a man badly injured coming to the aid of someone in need.
Hamilton, Waikato
Gareth intervened during a vicious attempted carjacking of an older woman in broad daylight in Rototuna, Hamilton, on the 21st June 2022. He successfully prevented the victim from suffering serious injury. However, the assailants turned on Gareth, attacking him and intentionally hitting him with their car badly breaking his right leg. We sincerely hope that the assailants will be brought to justice for their actions.
Gareth is training to become a qualified electrician, he is passionate about competitive fly fishing, a devoted husband and father of a young son.
Please give generously to show some support for Gareths actions and to assist him and his family during his recovery.

I had not meet Gareth until the incident, I saw the aftermath of the attack and spoke with the woman who he saved. I believe Gareth deserves all the assistance that the local community can muster.
