Raising funds for Haydom Lutheran Hospital in Tanzania to help fund much-needed resources and equipment

Hi friends and family,
In July 2018, the four of us will be travelling to Tanzania to work at Haydom Lutheran Hospital for our year 6 medical elective for 10 weeks. This is a 420-bed hospital located in a remote part of Tanzania. The hospital provides access to healthcare to 5.7 million people in its greater catchment area.
We are very lucky to have been accepted to come to this hospital where resources are scarce and need is high. We would like to present a donation to the hospital to assist in funding resources and equipment that is desperately needed. Any contributions would be most appreciated.

Use of funds
Money donated will be presented to the hospital on arrival, where it will be spent on healthcare equipment and resources for the hospital - medications, ward supplies and technology such as radiology equipment
