Help me row from Napier to Gisborne!

I want to row from Hawkes Bay to Gisborne to take on a challenge and show others with a disability that they can still take on adventures!

Hawke's Bay

Living with a disability which causes me to walk with a walking stick I have learnt to row using only my trunk and my arms, now i want to take on the massive challenge of rowing from Hawkes Bay to Gisborne!

I'll have a support crew with me to anchor on and sleep when required, but other than that it'll be all under my power!

I want to raise a bit of attention with this and show people that nothing is impossible..

Once I have raised the money to get on the water all further donations will be given to Disabled Snowsports Canterbury, a great non-profit organisation of volunteers aimed at teaching people with physical and mental disabilities how to ski.

Use of funds

The funds will be used to purchase a boat, the additional gear required, safety equipment, food and fuel for the support crew / boat.

Update 8 January 2018

Hi guys, thought I would give a quick update to let you know that the holiday break went well and I managed to get out on the boat a bit which was good. Had a couple of beautiful mornings with no winds, and even managed to bump into some dolphins!
