Help a Loving Father Support His Young Family

My name is Daniel Diack and my partners name is Megan, I am a father of One beautiful daughter, Megan a mother of one awesome son and our first child together is on the way, I manage a dairy farm in Patearoa which is in the Maniototo (central Otago), On the 31/12/21 my partner Megan's waters broke and she was taken by helicopter to Queen Mary Hospital in Dunedin 187km away from our family home (I had to drive up in the car as was not allowed in helicopter due to covid), we are only 24weeks into this pregnancy so everything is being done to stop my daughter being born too early as her organs are not developd enough, this has resulted in my partner now having to be on permanent bed rest at the hospital for the next 4-10 weeks under constant observation from specialists and test multiple times per day/night with the consent all ready given for an emergency C section if required, I want to support my partner and my unborn child so very much but have to remember in this current COVID climate having a good job with decent income and a family home to raise our young family is so very important, but I'm at a crossroads currently, I have no entitlements for annual leave or sick leave outstanding and my employer requires me to work, so I am currently traveling from Patearoa to Dunedin hospital as much as possible, to support my partner and our unborn child, this is currently having a huge impact on me to be able to function, emotionally, financially and do my job and run my team and afford the cost of travelling. I am currently unable to receive assistance from MSD (over there income limit) or the Southern DHB for costs associated with travelling, accommodation and all the other extras my pregnant partner needs while she is layed up in a hospital bed.

Any donations to aid in this current process to help support and be the best father I can be to my unborn child and partner through this extremely difficult and emotional time for our growing family would be so very much appreciated.
