We help rangatahi succeed in work, training and education.
Wellington
For the past seven years, Youth Inspire has placed over 600 rangatahi into employment, education and training. We catch the young people who fall through the gaps and provide wrap-around care and support so that they can lead fulling and productive lives. We run a Youth Employability Programme and a Community Driving School. The Driving School is supported by volunteer mentor drivers. Our age group is 16-24 year old's who are not in education, employment or training.
The youth we work with come from areas of high deprivation. There are 4,263 excluded and disadvantaged young people in Lower Hutt. 38% Live in deprived housing, 24% suffer serious or moderate exclusion and disadvantage*.
Youth Inspire provides a service to those who need us the most. We don't judge and we support rangatahi no matter where they're at in their life path and regardless of their past. We provide them with the confidence and skills they need to transition into employment, education, and training.

Our vision is for all youth to be engaged in meaningful employment, training or education. We help our young people to succeed by providing employability training, certificates, health & wellbeing support, learner and restricted driver licence programmes.
