Help improve life for Sophie & her wee family

My sister is 37 and a solo mum (in a shared care situation) of a high needs 8 year old and she has a rare condition called Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome that she was diagnosed with at 32, since then her mobility has gone down hill and even walking around the supermarket/shopping mall can be a struggle and leave her in immense pain. She has tried to get help with a mobility scooter or electric wheelchair through WINZ, the hospital, an occupational therapist and has also applied for grants and had no luck, sadly her condition is highly unrecognized. This is our last resort to get her some sort of mobility aid so she can have a live-able life for her and her son.
