We are fundraising to help Jax and her lovely model Elizabeth Charleston get to the Melbourne Cup.

Recently Jax showed her first ever collection at New Zealand Fashion Week. Not an easy feat for a single mother (who is still paying off the bill), but a dream now lived. From this dream she entered the Emerging Designer Award which takes place during the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday November 5th, and she has been announced as a finalist.
This is the next stepping-stone for her to have a chance to get her collections on the racks internationally, with the winner designing a range for the Myers Department Store.
We are fundraising to help Jax and her lovely model Elizabeth Charleston get to the Melbourne Cup. Money will go towards flights, accommodation, ground transport, hair and make-up and all event costs that are required for entry.
“I feel a little like Phar Lap, the Kiwi underdog that’s about to take on the world”, Jax said after finding out she was named a finalist.
