Eco-friendly Everest - tree restoration project

$1,260 of $5,000 goal
Given by 19 generous donors in around 6 months

Let's help support a family-friendly, eco-friendly and sustainable tree-planting project in Khunde village, Nepal.

International

I am a kiwi secondary teacher living in Hong Kong.

I will be trekking to the Everest Base Camp during August 2018, passing through Khunde village on my 16-day journey.

In April 2018, the villagers of Khunde will begin building a plant nursery and an urgent tree-planting project to help fight future soil erosion on earthquake-damaged mountain slopes.

All funds raised will assist with present and on-going tree-planting, fencing materials and nursery development.

This worthy project will help villagers to keep their homes, livestock and crops safe from future landslides.

Trees are the lungs of our planet.
