Kim is facing the toughest battle of her life. She has Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma and urgently needs treatment that isn’t funded in New Zealand. With your support she would have access to the Ipilimumab and Nivolumab treatment protocol which is more effective in treating the type of cancer she has. The cost is $60000 for 4 cycles of treatment starting immediately and we’re rallying together to get her the care she deserves.

Kim has been a very dear friend of mine for over 20 years. We have worked together, lived together and travelled together. I love her dearly and want to do all I can to support her in this fight. She is an incredible person who has brought so much joy.

Use of funds

The ipilimumab nivolumab treatment protocol which has been shown to be 15% more effective than keytruda alone. It would increase her chance of survival to 65-70%. Its 4 cycles of treatment commencing immediately.

We first of all want to send a heartfelt thanks to all of you who have donated thus far. Your support has been overwhelming and generous. Its nice to know that so many people care and are willing to help her fight this.

Kim began her first round of treatment a week ago. She had the Nivolumab and Ipilimumab two days apart so it was an intense week for her. Each treatment is paid for at the time of treatment so in order for her to complete the full cycle we will need to keep fundraising. Please share it with your friends and on social media so we can keep the momentum going.
