Hi there, I am starting this fundraising for our amazing mom. Sadly she has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (Bone Marrow Cancer) after her doctors investigated why she has a spine fracture, after being in so much pain for some time.
Mom is still so young and has 3 beautiful grandchildren who is her biggest fans. She is a support worker for the elderly and people that is in the same circumstances that she is in now and always looking after everyone around her. If you know mom you know you never leave her presence without a smile. She is always positive and ready for a good laugh, even now in the unknown journey we are starting.
With her amazing doctors at Kathleen Kilgour Centre in Tauranga, she is starting chemotherapy the 11th of August 2020 and will be getting a bone marrow transplant soon after and also will be seeing a surgeon for her spine fracture. She is strong and ready to fight this!
