Raising funds to get my family out of Gaza to safety and to get medical assistance for my parents.
Dunedin, Otago
My family live in Gaza and they have lost their home and live in a plastic shelter on the street. We lost my brother when Israel bombed my family home and I am scared to lose more family members. To get them out of Gaza through Rafah Board to Egypt it costs USD 5,000 for adults and USD 2,500 for under 16 year olds. I need help for four adults and one 14 year old to safely leave Gaza.
My father, 66 years old, also has a fractured vertebrae that makes it extremely hard to move and he needs care to practice basic tasks. He cannot walk on his own and needs access to health care. He also needs cataract surgery which he does not have access to in Gaza.
My mother, 65 years old, also needs access to better health care as her health is declining from the stress, pressure, and grief that has come over the past 2 years. She has high blood pressure and needs medical attention.
I am working here in New Zealand and trying to provide for my family here as well as in Gaza. The money that I send to my family is just not enough, but it is better than nothing. The food prices in Gaza are ten times more expensive than what we pay in New Zealand. I try to support them by sending money for food but it is not enough to get by. I have set up this page to help raise the funds to get my family to safety and provide them with food for the mean time. I hope that if you can, you can give a little to help my family. Thank you.
My family in Gaza are my parents, brother, sister, and 14 year old niece.
The cost to get through Rafah Board, food, and medical assistance. The money will also provide them accommodation in Egypt.
I will be sending the funds to my brother
