Please help Nate realise this lifelong dream he has of representing his country at a world event.
International
My son, Nathan Butterfield, has been selected to represent Archery New Zealand in the World Field Championships 2018 in Cortina, Italy. This event is taking place from 1st to 12th September 2018. He is the only archer to be selected to represent NZ at this event.
Archery NZ will pay the entry fees, (they only do this for World Championship Competitions!) but the rest of the expenses are to be paid by the Athlete.
This means that the return flights, accommodation, and all expenses, including uniforms, need to be financed!
Nate has been a dedicated sportsperson all his life and puts back all his spare time and most of his spare cash in coaching and mentoring young ones and sitting on committees.
Please help me give him something back for the extraordinary hours he gives to the sport and help him fulfill a dream.
Archery is a fairly expensive sport if you are wishing to constantly improve the equipment and your skills and consequently, Nate does not have the spare cash that will be required for this trip.
He has taken a second job but he will still be desperately short and I can not help financially.
Nate has said
"It’s an honour to be selected for one's country, I had been working hard to get this opportunity and look forward to the challenges ahead as I prepare for the World Cup, thank you to everyone that has supported me along this path."
I am his Mother and am trying to do my bit to help him get to the World Field Championships
The funds will be spent on airfares, accommodation, and living expenses while in Italy. Any surplus funds raised will be donated to Archery NZ to be used to help fund other Archers attend overseas competitions.
