Please Help Disability Van Needed

Hi my name is George, I am a c5/c6 tetraplegic, which means I am paralyzed from my chest down.

This is my story. I had just turned 15 when my whole life changed forever.

One Christmas holiday, I was at my Grandfathers for the holidays . My Grandfather house is right next to the local river. One day my cousins and I decided to go for a swim in the river, it had rained the night before and so the water was mucky and you couldn't see in the water, one of my cousin's and I decided to go to the highest point of the river so we could dive in (this is a usual thing we would do). I dived into first and I dint see the log and it was to late and the next thing I knew I couldn't feel my body and since then I have been wheelchair bounded.

My life since the since the accident it has been 24 hour cares. I have not seen any of my friends anymore but I have awesome support from my family, they help when they can, which is a blessing.

So here I am looking for a helping hand with funding for a disability van. I have tried various support systems but it's frustrating when you ask one place and they send me to another place and so on. I finally was given this site to try and so here I am.

The disability van would definitely be a great help for me to get to Dr appointments, Rehabilitation such as gyms and the spinal unit, shopping and most importantly visiting my family and going on outings with them.

Being disabled like I am dosent give me much options to save for a vehicle and financing is not an options either as I don't want to get into debt.

I appreciate any help I can get.
