Help Oden get an assistance dog

Hi, my name is Oden Flower.

I have ASD and SPD ( Autism spectrum disorder & Sensory processing disorder ) as well as ODD and ADHD. I am 7 years old.

My dog passed away last year when he was hit by a car, I miss him so much.

My family and I have done a lot of research into how an assistance dog will help me.

There are lots of families/kids in the same position as me and it has helped them lots.

My mum said the dog will be trained to help me when I’m feeling anxious or angry or sensory overload.

The wait list for a trained dog is 5 years, that means I will be 12 when I get my assistance dog.

I have a little brother, Loki ( 5 years old ) and a baby sister, Aubrie ( 2 months old ).

I like school, my favourite is maths and science. I want to be a physicist, mathematician and inventor just like Albert Einstein.

My mum thinks the responsibility of a dog will be good for me and to have a friend with me always especially when I feel lonely but don’t want to talk.

It usually costs $20k plus for an assistance dog and the 5 year wait, but my mum and I have researched into getting an assistance dog much quicker, It costs less but it will be hard work because we will have to take the dog to training constantly and have to continue the training at home as much as we can but I’m lucky my family will do this for me.

I want to start a page for me and my assistance dog when I get him for people to follow us and our silly pranks. We were told to fundraise and I really wanted to so mum let me make this page. What ever is left that we don’t raise she will pay for.
