Rotorua, Bay Of Plenty
This Givealittle page is for the vibrant life force Tatiana Joy Macfarlane (aka Paulette Dodd), recently diagnosed with inoperable stage 4 liver cancer (metastasised) and colorectal cancer (primary). The diagnosis came a day after the anniversary of her dad’s passing. Her GP initially diagnosed her with gallstones but it was later discovered that the mass was cancer and that there were a very large amount of tumors in her liver, originating in her colon.
Tatiana is a fierce, determined, strong and positive wahine and she faced this terrible news with the same positive way she lives her life. Where others may have crumbled, she has become stronger and determined to fight this with the power of the incredible love surrounding her from the myriad of people who love her, and her strong faith in God. She is also using natural remedies, rongoā Maori, vitamin C infusions and also looking to fund cancer drugs that our health care will not fund.
Tatiana has spent her life caring for others—an extraordinary healer, massage therapist, and friend. One of the most selfless acts of love is that she nursed her dad for the last five years of his life, Then in his last 12 months she put her business and life on hold to be by his side 24/7 as his full time carer until he passed peacefully in her arms in his childhood home.
With love and gratitude we thank you, and we have faith that Tatiana will beat this. The world needs her beautiful loving, kind, crazy bright light and healing.
Tatiana is my beautiful aunty, but she has always been so much more than that—she’s like another mother to me. She’s been a constant source of love, guidance & strength throughout my life.
