Help out a brave teen with multiple challenges

Ethan was born at 26 weeks, 800 grams with the odds against him, but he fought incredibly hard and earned the name "Arnie" in ICU because of it. His fight didn’t stop there, at 3 years old he had a cornea transplant which failed. We hoped he would have another chance at sight but in July 2022 his retina detached ending that dream. Nothing has been easy for Ethan, school has been tough, he's been diagnosed with epilepsy, ADHD, sensory processing disorder and just this week we had confirmation he has high functioning autism. This hasn't stopped this lad, earlier this year he started working part-time with a dream to save up for a car & more recently an opportunity presented itself to join a cohort at school on an overseas tour visiting a few countries to learn about historical events which has been something he has emersed himself in over the years. When he told me about this trip his eyes lit up and I knew we would have to find a way to make this happen for him. Ethan is determined to fund this trip himself, but I suspect it will be out of his reach. As a single mum, I am about to be bombarded with bills to get him through school based on the challenges he has. This trip is $7500 without spending money or food so ultimately looking to see if I can help him get some extra help by setting up this page. This will be life-changing for Ethan and as a mum who has seen how much courage he has had to face every challenge that has come his way he really deserves it.
