Help Rachel pay her vet bills

Rachel recently got diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. We thought she was on the road to recovery, she’d been diligently taking her meds and had been eating more regularly. On a check-up visit to see if her vitals had improved and her thyriod levels has stabilised, the vet noticed she had several well defined lumps. One on her tummy, throat and arm. Rachel is going to need these biopsied as cancer is a possibility and a biopsy is the only way to rule that out.

Unfortunately the vet thinks further treatment will be required if these lumps are cancerous. We love her very much and have spent all we have on treatment for her hyperthyroidism.  She has been with us through thick and thin and helped them get through high school, breakups and the loss of her friend, our dog Sam.

We need help with paying for her biopsy which will be a procedure costing around $1000 and any further vet bills, which could include a radioactive iodine procedure which would cost around $800. We have already spent around $1000 paying for tests and vet bills. We have limited pet insurance but unfortunately we have exhausted the maximum per year allowance already.

Anything anyone can spare would be appreciated. Rachel is very loved and only 8 years old. She wants to be around for a whole longer to see Justine and Sabrina finish their degrees and see the home Sabrina has waiting for her at her flat.
