Can you spare a donation (or a share) for a rescue mum so she can give her 3 year old rescue boy the best life she can?
Auckland
Sal is a vet nurse working in animal rescue. She recently found out that one her precious rescue dogs, Reed (pictured right), has cancer. He is young, only 3, and Sal is doing everything she can to ensure he is comfortable and free of pain. He is getting the best treatment from Veterinary Specialist Group, and all the love and care at home that he could need. But the treatment he receives costs. A lot. And working in rescue is not exactly profitable - no one does it for the money.
Reed has only been with Sal for a year. No one knows the life he had before, and Sal is not ready to let him go without giving him the great life he deserves, for as long as she can.
The money I am asking for will go towards his treatment, and any after care that may go with that. It will ensure that, for the time he has left, he can spend it with his loving family, free from pain, and without them having to worry about the financial strain.
Every little amount helps, a share, $1 or $100, your gift will be gratefully accepted and go towards giving this boy and his family the chance to create some awesome memories. I thank you humbly for that.
I am a coworker and friend who knows the financial strain this is putting on her. She is way too humble to ask for help - so I am forcing it on her.
Funds will be used for Reed's treatment and after care costs to make him comfortable. All excess funds will be donated to the charity of Sal's choice, in memory of Reed.
