Raising Funds For Stephen Nassau and his Whānau.
Auckland
Dear Friends and Whānau of Stephen Nassau
The day after Waitangi day Stephen had a tragic accident causing a traumatic injury to his head. Since then he has been in a coma in Intensive Care in Auckland Hospital. Stephen is a fun-loving, caring person who is always up for a laugh, a sing-along, cooks a mean feed, and will be the first to put up his hand and help out when anything needs doing. Steph is a fighter but unfortunately, his prognosis took a turn for the worst yesterday and the outlook for Stephen is not looking positive
Steph is the primary caregiver to his two youngest daughters and this is where we need your help for his beautiful Whānau. His immediate Whānau having been taking time off work to be with him, paying ridiculous amounts for car parking up at Auckland Hospital. My gorgeous niece, Steph’s eldest daughter Eugenia has been amazing throughout putting her job on hold to take on the role of primary caregiver and look after her two younger siblings who are 10 and 12 while making decisions on behalf of her Dad.
Stephen’s three middle children, who live in Australia, are currently in managed isolation having flown across. They have incurred $9,000 in managed isolation bills because of Covid 19 restrictions.
There is so much extra stress on this family while they just try to survive and be by their father’s side while he is in intensive care. Please, if you have worked with Stephen, crossed paths with him, if he has touched your life in some way or if you simply want to support this wonderful family in a difficult time, any and all donations would be greatly appreciated. This money will be used to help this family and take the pressure off Eugenia as they walk the long and challenging road ahead.
Any contribution small or large would be a great help, – even the cost of a 1-hour car parking would go a long way. Your generosity and support is greatly appreciated. Ata wai wolo / Thank you
