We would love your help to get Swagganauts to the World Hip Hop Dance Championship.

We are Swagganauts Dance Crew and we need your help to get to the World Hip Hop Dance Championships in USA this August.

We took first place at the recent NZ National Hip Hop competition, qualifying for the World Championships taking place in Phoenix, Arizona from August 6-13th.

Our crew ranges from 14 to 18 years old and we are part of Identity Dance Company. We’ve worked so hard for this and we are honoured to have the opportunity to be on the world stage for a shot at the world title.

In 2019, Swagganauts came first in the world for our division and bought home gold. So it’s a dream come true to be able to compete again, and extra special this year as we have been unable to defend our world championship title for the last two years.

Swagganauts and our wider IDCO family are fundraising to represent NZ at this global competition. We have a tight timeframe to raise the money needed for flights, accommodation, registration and other associated costs.

The World Hip Hop Championship is the world’s most celebrated dance event. Over 4000 of the world’s best dancers will come together to perform. Crews from 50+ countries will compete to capture the world title. We are looking forward to meeting others from around the world equally passionate about hip hop culture and dance.
