Help the Armstrong Girls Recover from Devastating House Fire

$8,808 of $5,000 goal

This fundraiser was started to help Hannah and Shayna move forward after losing everything in a devastating house fire.

Auckland

On Saturday, 19th October 2019, a ferocious fire destroyed everything in Hannah and Shayna’s rental home on Waiheke Island. Unfortunately, the house contents and car weren’t covered by insurance.

Luckily, both girls are physically fine but the effects of this tragedy will linger for a long time.

We all know the memories, treasures and important items that we keep in our home and for the girls, EVERYTHING, including the car that was parked in the driveway, three years worth of tertiary study materials and all personal belongings are gone.

As a community, let’s show our support to two wonderful young women who have had to go through an extremely tragic and heartbreaking ordeal.

Thank you for reading.

Ella Meckel-Kritos' involvement (page creator)

Hannah and Shayna are my younger step sisters. There have been many offers of help from the community so I created this channel for those that wish to donate.

Use of funds

Any money raised will go directly to the girls to assist them with finding and creating a new home. For every $50 that goes over the target, we will donate $10 to Fire and Emergency New Zealand for their outstanding service that day and every day.
