Help the Mt Wellington Community Light Party happen this year.
Please help us keep this annual event going. It is is important for our community. Your gift will mean a lot for our tamariki.

For over 14 years now the annual Light Party in Mt Wellington has been a feature on many families calendar. The event is totally free and has amusements (bouncy castles and activities) face-painting, balloons, live music, fancy dress competition and lots of lollies!
This year we have not been able to secure funding because of a missed deadline. Every year over 1100 children and adults attend and we want to ensure that we don't let our tamariki down. We need your help to make the Light Party happen. We need $3,960.00 to pay for traffic control, council permits and for the amusements. (There are other costs but we can absorb those.)
This is the first time we have had to ask for money to keep it running and we hope it will be the last.

We are a community trust focused on the community of Mt Wellington. We offer a wide range of services to our community.
Use of funds
The money will be spent on traffic control (a council requirement) and to pay for the amusements.
