1. Emergency Relief Fund for Families in Cebu Province, Philippines

Sudden lock-down measures have put the most vulnerable families, who earn less than USD 5 a day and rely on the informal economy to survive in immediate danger of not having any food during the crisis. FundLife is responding by making emergency relief packs for distribution to the most vulnerable people to ensure they have the means to survive and keep their families safe.

They are providing emergency relief packs to the most vulnerable communities and especially those where Girls face the biggest risk during the lockdown. One Pack per family will contain the following items; 2.5 Kilo Rice (White and Brown) 5 x Canned Sardines 5 x Instant Noodles 2 x Snack Packs 1 x Chick Peas Canned 1 x Mushrooms Canned 1 x 250 gr Mongo Beans 1 x Cooking Oil 3 x Body Soap 2 x Bathroom Tissue 1 x Clothes Detergent 1 x Bleach 1 x Toothpaste 1 x Washable Face Mask

2. Emergency Relief Fund for Families in Quezon City and Surrounds, Philippines

Reach Out and Feed Philippines are based in Quezon City, a city of about 2.9 million people. With businesses closed, suspended public transport & slow government's response to the crisis, poor Families of daily wage earners are now left unsure of where to get food for the next 4 weeks! Please help us give relief packs to at least 10,000 affected families. People are in need of food assistance as they are restricted to go out of their homes to avoid further spread of COVID-19. These emergency relief packs will be given to affected families to ensure that they have food during the lockdown period.

At this time of crisis, we are all suffering on one way or another but as Kiwis we are very privileged to have a good standard of living and help from our government when we need it. Many people in other countries are not so fortunate.

Brave local groups and aid workers are working around the clock to fight this ‘hunger pandemic’, doing all they can to feed hungry, desperate families, and fight the virus. But they’re working on a shoestring, and they need our help! Please help us raise funds so we can help them even just a little.
