Toby has an incredible opportunity to play six top-level UK football academies as part of a U19 boys squad from NZ and Australia
Wellington
Hi, my name is Toby Hunt and I am a 16 year old goalkeeper. I am incredibly lucky to have been selected for a football squad of U19 boys from NZ and Australia that will tour the UK in October 2018. The squad will play six top-level UK football academies: Queens Park Rangers; Swindon Town; Ipswich Town; Watford; Colchester and Tottenham. After the tour I will also have the chance to trial with some other London-based English clubs.
I am working and saving hard to pay for the tour and I would be extremely grateful for any small amount you might contribute to the costs.
I play football for my school, Wellington College, and my Club, Wellington Olympic. I am also the keeper for the Wellington Regional U16 futsal team. Earlier this year, I was the keeper for my school futsal team when we won the New Zealand Secondary Schools National Championships.
Football is my passion and I am incredibly excited and grateful for this opportunity to experience and play high-quality football in the UK.
I am hoping to raise $5000 towards the full costs of $7000.
Thanks very much for any donations you would like to give.
Toby is under 18 years old and therefore funds will be paid into his parents' account.
The money will be spent on flights, food, accomodation, insurance, transport within the UK and equipment. Any surplus will be donated to KidsCan, which supports NZ children in need.
