Tonka the rottie needs 2 new knees!

At the time of taking out the insurance when Tonka was a puppy, we took out the Gold plan which allows upto $6000 for injury/illness surgery. I'm not going to lie, part of this is my fault for not understanding what a cruciate was I just assumed any injury would be covered under the injury part of the plan. The cruciate is only covered up to $700 with the Gold plan but it was the most comprehensive insurance we could afford for everything else.

For Rottweiler owners, I now know that the cover best for us would be the cheaper Rhodium plan...I wish someone had explained that to us when we signed up. Hopefully that's the cover you have!
