Bird Rescue are asking for help to buy seafood for the large number of seabirds currently at the Centre - thank you!
Auckland
With the storms and high winds this summer, we've had many sick, exhausted and very hungry seabirds brought to the Centre. These include shearwaters, shags, gulls, oystercatchers, terns and gannets, and even an albatross.
We have exhausted our supplies of fish and need your help to purchase the large quantity of seafood these birds require to get them ready to release. Even a few dollars would be fantastic.
Thanks so much for any help you can give us! Funds will be used to provide food and medication for these lovely birds.
BirdCare Aotearoa is a wild bird hospital and rehabilitation centre providing expert care and rehabilitation for sick, injured and orphaned wild birds.
Funds will be used to purchase seafood or medication for sick or injured seabirds at the centre.
