Help us help Tamaiva and his beautiful family. They shouldn’t be worried about $$$ during this time.
Wellington
Tamaiva was a healthy, fit and caring 9 year old whose world turned upside down on Sunday.
He was rushed to hospital with unexplained seizures and loss of movement from the waist down.... tests are still not showing any reason why.
Please help us help this beautiful family in their time of need.... we may not be able to help with medical diagnosis but we can certainly help with the financial burden during this time.
We are very close friends with Monique who adore Tamaiva and want him to get better and hope this helps somewhat.
This money will be spent on anything the MacDonald family need at this time.
Primarily transport costs, medical bills, food, mortgage payments, and anything else Tamaiva or his family may need.
Update on Maiva 5 December 2019
There really are no words to express how truly blessed and grateful we are to have such a huge army behind Tamaiva.
Special thanks to our family and friends who have taken on Luca and Rylan while we have been with Tamaiva.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out with donations on this page, texts, messages, prayers, visits, calls- We have seen and heard them all! From the bottom of our hearts again, thank you!
All of November our world was rocked to its core, our hearts empty and broken.
Everyone's love and support for our family and Tamaiva has been so much that it feels as though our hearts have been somewhat replenished.
We have experienced things we never in a million years thought would happen, things we only heard of. Our world has been tipped upside down, these past 4 weeks have been in two words... Life Changing.
We move forward with a renewed level of faith at its absolute highest and Positivity and focus to get us through Tamaivas recovery.
After over a week of testing and almost two weeks in the awesome 😬 hospital,
Tamaiva has been diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).
Its something that just happens no fault of anything or anyone.
He has good and bad days, walking to not walking, Feeding himself to having to be fed.
But this isn't forever! With intense Physio and therapy Tamaiva will overcome this and be his normal self again. How long? We don't know.
For now we are taking it day by day.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts - because of all of your generous donations this allows us to put 100% of our time into his recovery rather than worrying about our return to work dates.
