Nationwide
In 2017, 105 people lost their lives to drowning and tragically, most drownings and related injuries are preventable.
As a nation surrounded by water, it is crucial that our children learn lifesaving water safety and know how to survive.
Your donation will fund the teaching of Water Skills For Life in schools or at your local pool to children in Years 1 to 8.
Our aim is to ensure every child has access to essential aquatic education to prepare them for a lifetime of living next to oceans, lakes and rivers in our beautiful country.
Learning to swim in isolation isn't enough - the tools needed to survive comes from water skills training and Water Skills For Life teaches just that.
With your help, we can teach more children the necessary water safety skills that will set them up for life and keep them safe around water.

As New Zealanders, we love the water - whether playing or surfing in it, boating or sailing on it, or simply enjoying our stunning coastline, beaches, lakes and rivers.
Sadly, every year, a large number of Kiwis lose their lives to drowning.
At Water Safety New Zealand, we believe we can achieve the goal of zero drowning - but to do so, we need your help.
Make water safety a priority for you and your family - learn to swim, wear and use the right safety equipment, learn survival skills and most importantly keep your loved ones, especially young children, close.
Lets enjoy this amazing country and its waterways together, safely.
