As you all know, India is going through one of the toughest times she has ever been through. Covid is trying its best to pull the country apart, taking along with it many of our fellow beings and it's not backing out. This is a country that has extended wholehearted support to foreign nations by exporting medicines, vaccines, and support even during her own trying times with Covid during the first wave.

But this time around Covid has returned and hit India harder. The hospitals are at capacity, there is a shortage of oxygen concentrators and ventilators for the patients, a shortage of vaccines for people trying to get immunised, and not to mention the shortage of burial sites for the dead. India is bleeding, India is screaming for help. India needs our support more than ever now.

Some of you may have been impacted directly with the loss of near and dear ones, but almost all of us are impacted in one way or the other as fellow human beings. We need help keep India strong. It is our turn and no less than our duty to come forward and extend wholehearted support. It's this compassion and kindness that will make us true humans.

We AMHS a registered charity organisation in NZ, request you all to donate generously to this cause through this page so that the money can be channelised to the people in need. AMHS being a registered charity organization (Regn: CC57661), all your donations to this cause are eligible for a tax deduction.

Paid $5000 towards Indian Consular Initiative to supply oxygen concentrators  3 May 2021

Posted by: Auckland Malayali Hindu Samajam

We have made an advance payment of $5000 to the Indian consular initiative ( routed through NZ Indian Central Association ) to send oxygen concentrators from New Zealand to India on 03/05/2021. Being a small charity organisation registered only a year ago in NZ, we wouldn’t be able to make a more significant contribution without this fund drive and for this, we seek all your generous contribution.
