Help with Makos recovery

Fundraising for Veterinary costs for my horse Mako who was injured badly on both his back legs running through a fence from fireworks.

Auckland

I am raising money as my beautiful horse Mako injured himself by running through a fence due to neighbours setting off extremely loud fireworks 2 days after guyfawkes. He required immediate vet assistance and the after hours vet was called and he was sedated, given a tetanus shot, antibiotics and painkillers - his recovery will take around 6 months. The vet bill is estimated to be between $600 to $800 excluding on going costs throughout his recovery.

I am studying and working part time and is a struggle for me to pay for his vet bills. I have already had amazing people donate me bandages, creams, hay and supplies to help Makos recovery - thank you to everyone. The smallest donation would mean the world to Mako and I. Fireworks need to be banned, I hope this also helps raise awareness for those animals who are affected and cannot speak for themselves.

Thank you in advance to those who donate.

Use of funds

The use of these funds will go towards Veterinary costs and any money donated over the goal will be donated to the SPCA.
