HELP MY DAD!

Kia Ora and Talofa lava my name is Doraine Vavau Nickel. Im making this page to help out and raise money for my one and only beloved dad.My fathers name is Joseph Junior Nickel, father of four kids and happily married and at the age of 42 years.This year Im so keen to do something that will help my dad out. Well my dad is not like any other fathers in this planet my dad is not able to function a normal lifestyle like other fathers do with their families.

My dad is a obessed man, the cause of this is at the end of 2011 he injured himself and now has multiple fractures to his right leg. He was hospitalized for at least two years, and further help with physio and rehab done and weight lose. But as for the time in hospital they had told him that he was not able to have a full operation on his right leg due to his weight.But sadly the outcome for this was not a very brightening outcome for him and us because it was very hard for him to be consistent.

MY DAD'S UNTOLD STRUGGLE...

My dad was always adviced to exercise and try to loose weight. He did loose weight but at the same time it was a struggle for him. As we all know that loosing weight is not the easiest goal to be reached.The other advice that was given to my father was the gastric bypass surgery, this surgery is very helpful with weight lose. As for all surgery it will have the cost of a fortune, So my dad and his GP applied for a funding from the district health board twice but unfortunately they were both declined due to unreaced criteria such as that he doesn't have Diabetes,high blood sugar and more. So therefore he has ask for help from private surgeons and they are willing to help him. But one last hurdle is how its so expensive for my mum to cover with her the only one working in our family. The approximate cost for his bypass surgery is $24,069.00 . So therefore my dads surgery cant go on if I dont raise enough money to help my dad get the surgery thats going to change his life forever.

MY WISH FOR MY DADDY...

Till this day i dream of my dad walking and being active in his lifestyle.I forever wish that my dad could get help so that he can get back into action and coach us for our sports. I really miss the days when I would see my dad in the midst of other dads supporting me in my sports and i wish to see him supporting alongside my brothers and I at our sports and school things.And for him to be at my guaduation and see his smile once again to show how proud he is of me. And once again I would love to see him happy and living a normal lifestyle as a father for our family.

Therefore I humbly ask for your kindness to help raise the funds for my dads gastric bypass surgery.Blessed is the one who gives than the one who receives.
