Help Tony fight terminal bowel cancer and stick around as long as he can for his whanau.
Wellington
Tony is one of my oldest, ugliest, baldest, and funniest friends. We’ve worked together over the years and I’ve asked him if I could set up this page to help a brother out.
Tony has stage 4 bowel cancer and it’s terminal. This financial support isn’t to find him a cure - we are passed that stage. What I’m hoping is that his friends, family and colleagues can all chip in to help Tony live longer for his family.
Whatever you can give, anything, it all goes a long way. All funds will go towards alternative treatment and his family.
Here’s a little about Tony and his fight so far:
He’s 39 years old and has a beautiful family - partner Kylie and 26 month old baby girl Emma.
He was diagnosed with bowel cancer 18 months ago. He now has stage 4 bowel cancer. It’s terminal and he’s been given 12 months to live.
To date Tony has been through the wringer - he’s had two rounds of chemotherapy, a round of radiation, an almost eight hour operation and a few smaller operations. His bowel has blocked twice which is one of the most painful things that can happen to you. It’s fairly uncommon but just his luck.
Tony’s recommended treatment plan is not publically funded and his medical insurance doesn’t cover it either. It costs the big bucks. Like - big bucks. Having cancer is bloody expensive and there are so many hidden costs.
Tony’s recommended treatment plan is his only option left to help prolong his time with his family.
Dig deep whanau and friends. Tony needs our help.
Helping a mate
All funds will go towards alternative treatment recommended by his doctors (that's not publicly funded) and towards his family.
