Student Midwife - Vanuatu, 2018. HELP!

$2,000 of $4,000 goal
Given by 7 generous donors in around 6 months

4 week placement in Vanuatu, an incredible opportunity to develop my skills and provide much needed midwifery support to their community.

Wellington

This is an opportunity to work with women during their pregnancy and birth experience in an environment that is under-funded, remote and challenging.

This is an annual program and the women and hospitals look forward to having New Zealand midwifery students working side by side with them, sharing knowledge and experiences.

The work is hard, the hours long, and the pay non-existent. But the experience - priceless.

Linda Adams' involvement (page creator)

I want to expand my training and take every opportunity that is presented to me to participate in the magic of pregnancy and birth in as many environments as I can. To provide skilled and ethical skills and a warm, compassionate heart to women and babies and communities.

Use of funds

Funds raised will go directly towards my travel, accommodation and living expenses to get to the island of Santo, Vanuatu.

It will also cover any costs of taking medical supplies across to the hospital from donations kindly made by Wellington hospitals.
